On Sunday, July 13th, members took Tower 1 to the town of Avon for a joint drill involving all of Task Force 54. This was a significant moment for us, as it is our first time drilling with these towns since joining the Task Force 3 months ago. Members were able to practice multiple scenarios including flat roof ventilation, peaked roof ventilation, large area search, and rescuing a downed firefighter from a basement. These evolutions took place across 2 buildings slated for demolition in the coming weeks.
