Three Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision in Plainville, One Airlifted by Lifestar |

On the evening of May 09, Plainville Fire Company responded to a serious two-vehicle motor vehicle accident (MVA) requiring extrication. Firefighters arrived quickly on scene and found multiple occupants trapped in the vehicles. Crews worked efficiently using hydraulic rescue tools to safely extricate the victims. A total of three individuals sustained injuries in the crash. Two patients were transported by ground ambulance, while a third—due to the severity of their injuries—was airlifted by Lifestar medical helicopter to a regional trauma center. “Thanks to the coordinated efforts of our responders and our mutual aid partners, we were able to safely remove all victims and ensure they received timely medical care,” said a Plainville Fire Company spokesperson. The cause of the accident is under investigation by local authorities. Fire and EMS personnel remained on scene to assist law enforcement and ensure scene safety. The Plainville Fire Company reminds residents to always wear seatbelts, avoid distracted driving, and yield to emergency vehicles on the roadway.
